Wolfpack assembles At the Coffee Cartel in Central West End

Wolfpack Hustle St.Louis meets at the Coffee Cartel in Central west End every week- on Sunday at 8pm . We usually ride out close to 830. Rides range from city laps to the great beyond and back. We finish at The Handlebar in the Grove neighborhood. And we always bring that HuSTLe!

Tonight Tielsen recieves the coveted Wolfpack Hustle spoke card. We also observe his 42nd birthday as our good friend and lead-pack rider!

Wolfpack Hustle STL All-City Laps

We go wayyyy out into the county most Hustles, but sometimes it’s rad to just tear ass around your own backyard. This whole city is our backyard. According to our Stravas, we ride this city more than most, so Wolfpack Hustle STL City Laps has become a furious tradition, lapping our whole city, twice. From the Arch to Skinker, and back again, Wolfpack Hustle STL is pushing mileage, and keeping those loners out there in check on the boards.

Longtime Hustler, and Dog Tag holder (1st Women’s Fixed, STL Wolfpack Hustle Marathon Crash Race, 2012), Wolfpack Tracy, received her spoke card before the Hustle. I haven’t seen many people in STL city streets, on a bike, more than Tracy. Congratulations Tray Tray.

What a bitchin’ ride. Bring your Hustle, STL.

STL Wolfpack Hustle 9/16

Tonight’s route continues to be a Wolfpack favorite, for many reasons. We crossed the McKinley Bridge into Illinois, which few dare to do, even with a group. Then we Hustled up the riverfront of the grand “Mississip” on Highway 3, which is essentially a super flat time trial, with few cars and lights, for as many miles as your heart can handle. Groups of Wolfpack stuck together, drafting and pace-lining off of each other, trying to catch the ~22mph lead pack.

Hella speed.

Wolfpack STL welcomes new Hustlaz Matt, Kim, Cage, and Tiel. Matt needs two new helmets: one for his head, and one for his beard. Someone should hook him up.

For all those who thought I was giving lip service: I am going to send this guy this photo of him in his Saints hat, via snail mail, as he requested. Because, hey, he survived Katrina.

Wolfpack STL welcomes Kim, who just moved here from CHI.

Wheel Son and Simons got spoke cards tonight. Between them, these guys have put over a thousand Wolfpack Hustle miles on STL pavement. STL WPH OGs.

Helmet pads: drenched. Phone: dead. Water bottles: empty. Bowls and beers: full.

Wolfpack Hustle STL Invades Penrose Velodrome

The first official ride of Fall in STL, spirits were up with great weather as we battled North County hills to reach somewhere with an incredible creep-out factor: Wild Acres Park. The algae and fog encroached dock was a well deserved break from the Hustle.

Next we crashed the Velo. Matty Le Fast was a favored victor on his gears, while Jon Simons, Hustling for the first time on clipless pedals, crushed the track bikes, both claiming victorious bragging rights, until next time…
