Marc Marino stares down Engine11 weapon Brad Adams at the 2013 Civic Center Crit just before both descend into the "whip" at turn 3. Brad suffered a major injury earlier in the year and likely won't be racing. Word is that Marc will be attending and this time may be staring at Red Hook rival Neil Bezdek as Team Cinelli Chrome has confirmed attendance... Legs ready. More than a few teams expected to represent big in in this one.

Hey I was just wondering I wanna make a race a lot like the all city team race you did that was to dangerous for you to do again. If I decide to go about this, is that okay with you guys? I created a liability waiver waving me of all lawsuits that could come of potential injuries and/or property damage (bikes and cars). the race would be from union station to venice beach, any route is okay. Is all of this okay with you, the originators of the all city race?
thanks
Max
Max those races were stupid, and dangerous and should NOT ever be replicated again. We stopped because we learned some hard lessons. We care about the athletes and the public’s safety and our perspective has changed a lot over the years. You should consult with your parents / guardian about any event that you create because it is likely they who will bear liability, waiver or not, for your actions since you are a minor under their care. Cycling is an inherently dangerous and deadly sport. You have a lot of energy and passion and that is important to the cycling movement, but we hope you can take from the lessons we learned here and create as safe an arena possible for athletes and the public to enjoy cycling.
how I sign up to be a Volunteer?
please email volunteers @ wolfpackhustle dot com THANK YOU
Hello and thank you for your time, my name is William Thompson and I am currently working on a fixed gear ride from New York City to LA brakeless. I have a crew of four people including myself, but not limited to just us four . I have secured a production company to film the entire thing so it can go on the big screen with hopes of touring a film festival on a cycling documentary. This week I have finished my three letters asking for sponsorship. one to Facebook asking for $7500 sponsorship because we all Met via Facebook. one to bicycle manufacturing company’s asking for, four new bikes and one to kit company’s asking for custom-made kits the last two that I mentioned I can change the name of the companies so I can mail out several letters to different companies in order to get a better response. A good friend who is part of the Atlas crew, who is also bringing in the production company, turned me onto you guys and told me to contact you and that maybe you could help us out. This is going to be a ride of epic proportion and never been documented before according to the Guinness Book of World Records. I invite you in to be part of something much bigger than my personal goals are even all my friends goals combined. I am open for all and any ideas feedback and comments, even sponsorship, as the end of our ride will be in your town. my contact phone number is 813-399-4385. Again thank you for your time in reading this and I hope to hear from you. Sincerely William Thompson president of Atlas crew, a ride from New York City to LA
Let us know how things progress. I think that Aventon bikes would be up for getting you guys some frames.
Is this event sanctioned by the city? I heard from a cop friend that LAPD, LA Sheriffs and the CHP will be enforcing and/or confiscating fixed gear bikes starting soon, especially in the downtown area. This after a handicapped woman who was recently injured by a fixie rider brought a lawsuit against the city.
So if this is sanctioned by the city, I wonder if you ride to the event if you will be hassled, any idea on this?
Absolutely. It is insured, permitted and sanctioned by the American Bike Racing.
I already registered and I accidentally deleted the eventbrite email the first one I get, do I need that email?
no. we will have you on the list.
Hey was wondering if I need my ID, I lost mine recently and I already paid for registration, is there anything else I could use other then my DL?
Yes. Please bring an official photo ID. We need proof of who you are somehow.
Can I bring a copy of my ID I had get one from work because mine is not coming in this week at all until next week Monday of I’m lucky
