WHAT THIS IS:
The 2013 Unified Title Series Presented by Red Bull and Chrome.
From a field of thousands… One Man and One Woman will be declared Champions.
The Unified Title is a first of it’s kind points based series of 3 race concepts that brings together both fixed gear and geared disciplines into one competition.
Race 1 The Marathon Crash, and Race 2 The Los Angeles Criterium, will feature separate categories for fixed and freewheel (geared).
For the 3rd and final race, The 6th Street Drag Race, both categories will merge into a single speed (fixed or freewheel) sprint finale unifying the championship across 3 brutally challenging competitions. The winners of each race will be awarded Dog Tags, and the series champs will be awarded specially sculpted medallions.
WHAT IS AT STAKE:
Wolfpack Hustle Dog Tags will be awarded for 1st place winners in each individual race for each category and division along with the all new 2013 Chrome Coveted Jerseys.
Swag will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each individual race for each category and division.
2013 Wolfpack Hustle custom sculpted gold medallions, swag, and cash prizes will be awarded the series champions.
The Marathon Crash Race

This is a road race across Los Angeles from the East to the Beach. The course is the pre-dawn Marathon route – approximately 26 miles of LA streets. At 4AM, Marathon workers begin to shut down the route and shortly after that is when this race takes place. This is an unsanctioned, non-permited race. However we are working with LAPD to facilitate safe passage. First place Mens / Womens / Fixed Gear / Free-Wheel will receive Wolfpack Hustle Dog Tags. Top 16 finishers in each category will receive points in the series and free entry to Race #2 All others will receive points for participating. Lights, Helmets and Brakes are required.

The Los Angeles Civic Center Criterium
June 23rd 2013
This race takes place on a criterium loop located in Downtown Los Angeles. Riders will qualify during time trial session heats. Teams are permitted to work together during qualifying heats. Up to 100 riders in each category will qualify to compete for a 12 lap race. Lapped riders will be pulled. First place Mens / Womens / Fixed Gear / Free-Wheel will receive Wolfpack Hustle Dog Tags. Top 16 finishers in each category will receive points in the series top 3 recieve a free entry to Race #3 All others will receive points for participating. Prime laps will be awarded.
The 6th St. Drag Race
September 7th 2013
This scenic sprint race Finale is where the Fixed Gear and Freewheel categories merge and compete as one division Men’s and Women’s. This race is single speed only. Riders using geared systems will be required to prove that their gear shift system is disabled. 300 people will qualify 2 at a time for the top 16 fastest men’s and women’s times across 1000 feet of the 6th St. bridge. Qualified competitors will go head to head in bracketed elimination rounds until a winner is determined. First place Mens / Womens will receive Wolfpack Hustle Dog Tags. Points are awarded for 1st place to 16th place.
Kieron Menzies of Ride the Black Line has been working hard tweeking and tuning a highly competitive points structure for this first of it’s kind series. We finally zeroed on the following structure. Lets the races begin!!!
