Felt like an old school HUSTLE RIDE tonight hitting up the City of Commerce via Downtown and the 2nd St. Tunnel. Funny thing is, two years ago Commerce was the destination... Tonight that was the first leg of our trip and we got there faster than I can remember... Our newest dedicated soldier is Johnell Gainey. My man has heart chanting and hyping as we roll. Dude looks like he's wearing one of those plastic muscle suits but that is no plastic that is the real deal. He'd be faster but his over-sized lats cause wind drag.
BIG FAT WELCOME BACK TO MR. WISE. Wow. Wise was out cold less than a month ago with a broken shoulder blade. Stopped cold by an errant driver making a left turn and t-boning Wise on the Cahuenga downhill into Hollywood.
From Commerce we rolled to a quick stop at the 6th St. Bridge for a photo-op spin through Chinatown and out back Riverside and up Ferndell to one seriously majestic and clear view at the Griffith Observatory all the way out to Long Beach.
